Healing Center Therapy is a group practice that collaborates together and offers Mental Health Counseling Services for Children, Teens, and Families. They provide evidence-based programs for the following: anxiety, depression, impulsiveness, anger management, and social skills. They also provide programs that are based on evidence practices for emotional regulation and aggression.

IntraSpectrum Counseling Therapy Groupsprovide safe & affirming spaces for clients to share their stories with others, make connections, receive support, learn new skills, and experience a sense of belonging, security, and visibility. New Therapy Groups are forming throughout the year.
Esperanza Health Centers operate a number of Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) that provide behavioral healthcare including individual therapy and social-emotional groups. Individual therapy is provided 1-2 times per month. Appointments are 30 minutes and are geared toward short-term treatment. Behavioral health counselors do not prescribe medication but conduct a brief assessment and refer to a psychiatrist or primary care provider with recommendations for medication.

Services include individual, group, and family counseling, trauma counseling, art therapy, dance movement therapy, and play therapy. Additional services include HIV/AIDS support, case management, telehealth appointments, community resource referrals, and application assistance.Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid insurance plans are accepted. Fees can be subsidized based on household and income size for uninsured individuals.
Haven Youth and Family Services offers individual counseling for children, youth, and adults. Additionally, they offer family counseling, parenting support, and couples/relationship counseling.

The Chicago Lighthouse Bergman Institute for Psychological Support provides counseling services through the Forsythe Center for Comprehensive Vision Care to meet the emotional needs of individuals adapting to vision loss. The counseling program is designed to assist patients with the emotional and behavioral effects of functional loss through evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Individual, family, and group services are offered through school-based health centers and within their Youth Center to support youth experiencing a range of issues, including family conflict, substance abuse, peer relationships, identity issues, anger management, and behavioral/emotional challenges. Currently, all services are being provided remotely, though that may change in the future.
National Alliance On Mental Illness (NAMI) - Cook County North Suburban provides a non-traditional equine therapy for individuals and families dealing with mental health concerns. Mental health groups are led by licensed social workers and a psychologist at Equestrian Connections through a partnership with NAMI CCNS.

BUILD's Mental Health Program is designed to increase access to mental health care and substance abuse treatment for young people impacted by these issues. The Clinical Wellness teams offer onsite and school-based counseling, family services, art therapy, restorative justice programs and more. Counselors and therapists integrate their sessions with other BUILD programs, working to eliminate the stigma often associated with mental health care.
