Peer Support: Provides one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities. Staff and volunteers who have acquired positive skills for managing their own disabilities assist consumers to explore options, solve problems and develop new skills.
Peer counseling is provided for clients by individuals who have the same disabilities or who have successfully adapted to the restrictions of living with a disability.
Certified Missouri Peer Specialists assist those who have had or are currently expressing a mental health illness or substance use disorder create and reach their goals.
Provides peer counseling to help individuals with disabilities advocate for themselves, and achieve independent living goals.
A group that helps consumers with the tools and expectations necessary for them to guide their life now and in the future. Peer support is not designed to replace professional counseling, but it can serve as an additional support in improving the lives of people with disabilities. Support can come from one-on-one peer support with RAMP staff, board members, consumers, and community support groups.

Nursing Home Transition Financing Programs
Designed to assist pharmacists, pharmacist interns, and pharmacy technicians in obtaining the necessary help for successful rehabilitation from substance abuse as well as mental and physical disabilities.

Mental health respite. Peer support for individuals living with mental illness or substance abuse. Assists in crisis prevention and diversion from psychiatric distress that may lead to hospitalization. Offers a 24-hour warmline to speak with a trained Peer Specialist.

Maximum five-day overnight stay; day guests also welcome.

Offers eating disorder support online for those who struggle with eating disorders and want to recover. Mentees receive support and work with their mentors for six months. Mentors are peers who have been in recovery from an eating disorder for at least two years.
RAMP works with students and their families to learn the laws that protect the rights of a student with a disability, how to navigate the maze of community services, and to learn the skills required to achieve their goals. Services include: - Legal rights training. - Self-Advocacy Skills training. - Information & Referral. - Peer Support. - Independent Living Skills training. - Transition Planning guidance. - Educational workshops. - Assistance with letter writing. - Attendance at IEP, 504 or other related meetings. RAMP also currently offers three curriculums to local private and public school districts: - iBelong: Disability Awareness curriculum intended for grades Pre-K - 6, focusing on acceptance, believing in oneself, and how actions and attitudes affect others. - Ignite: Prepares 7th and 8th grade students who have IEPs to be active participants in their transition plan. - Teens 'N Transition (T'NT): Engages high school students with high incidence disabilities in many topics including education, employment, and living independently after the completion of high school.

Services include, but are not limited to: - Information and Referral (personal assistant, interpreter, and housing referrals). - Access and Advocacy (accessibility surveys, assistive devices, Braille printing). - Skills Development (personal assistant management training, basic computer skills, public transit use, budgeting). - Counseling (independent living, peer, vocational). - Free Amplified Phones for Illinois residents with verifiable hearing loss who have a land line. - Independent Living Needs Assessment. - Mass Transit District Disability Verification. - Reintegration into the community from nursing home, etc. (This includes possible financial assistance for moving home or into supportive living). - PACE Presentations - PACE will readily provide sign language interpreters to access PACE events on request.
