The Alzheimer’s Association 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900) is available around the clock, 365 days a year. Through this free service, specialists and master’s-level clinicians offer confidential support and information to people living with dementia, caregivers, families and the public.
Family Support Warmline: Provides emotional support and guidance to those experiencing anxiety, depression, or thoughts of suicide.
Provides real-time support from licensed counselors. Counselors are licensed or certified, and have training in how to provide culturally appropriate and trauma-informed support.
Illinois Mental Health Collaborative for Access and Choice's Warm Line is a phone resource line used by individuals and families who struggle with mental health issues and substance abuse.
Alzheimer's Association - Chicago Alzheimer's Association 24/7 Helpline provides information, advice, and support. The trained staff helps individuals with referrals to local community programs and services; dementia-related education; crisis assistance; and emotional support. Care consultations are provided by masters-level clinicians.
The Cradle's services to expectant parents serve all of Illinois and Indiana, offering free, non-judgmental, and confidential support to people experiencing an unplanned pregnancy or adjusting to life with a newborn. Their experienced counselors provide information, resources, and support to empower people to decide what is best for themselves, their children, and their families. Compassionate counselors help expectant parents and new parents explore all of their options, including adoption, recognizing that everyone's situation is different. In the event that parents choose an adoption plan for their child, their counselor will walk them through the process, including choosing and meeting a family. It doesn't matter how far along you are-it's never too early or too late to reach out. When ready, The Cradle can set up a time for individuals to meet with one of their counselors at a place convenient.
