Temporary emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence and accompanying children. Emergency needs such as food and clothing can be provided while in shelter, if needed.24 hour crisis line provides support, info and confidential emergency services available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Client advocacy is available to help support individuals through crisis, such as assistance in applying for Department of Health and Human Services economic assistance programs, finding a new place to live, or for emotional support and talking through options.

Legal advocacy provides assistance with filing domestic violence and harassment protection orders, legal referrals, help in finding legal representation, and court accompaniment.

Medical advocacy offers referrals and accompaniment as needed.

Bilingual advocacy provides immigration information for victims of domestic violence or sexual assault. To reach a Spanish-speaking advocate, contact the Spanish line or stop in at the Crete office to speak with a Spanish-speaking advocate.

Information and referrals provided regarding assistance outside of Hope Crisis Center.

Community education programs offered free of charge on topics such as: domestic violence, sexual assault, bullying, good touch/bad touch/secret touch, teen dating violence, date rape, violence in the media, sexting, domestic violence and the effects on children, sexual assault and the effect on children, and others.

Offers a crisis and text line for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. Trained Crisis Counselors work to de-escalate callers who may be experiencing suicidal thoughts, emotional distress, anxiety, and/or depression. Counselors work with callers to identify options for resources and referrals that may benefit the caller and aid in relieving their crisis.

Shelter location is confidential and not available to the general public. Outreach Services include counseling, court assistance, and public education and presentations. Crisis Line is answered by a trained domestic violence advocate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Victims of domestic violence or their friends and family members can receive counseling, information, and education about domestic abuse issues.

The Clerk of Court located in your county is the access point for involuntary commitments. 24 Mobile Crisis Response: on site intervention provided by qualified crisis response staff. Can be provided in the home or anywhere in the community.

Crisis Stabilization: Short term services designed for voluntary individuals who are in need of less intensive and restrictive services than in inpatient hospital. Services can be provided in the child's home or in a residential setting.

The purpose of the MO HealthNet program is to provide medical services to persons who meet certain eligibility requirements as determined by FSD. The goals of the MO HealthNet program are to promote good health, to prevent illness and premature death, to correct or limit disability, to treat illness, and to provide rehabilitation to persons with disabilities. Eligible persons receive a "MO HealthNet Identification Card" or a letter from the local FSD office. The Family Support Division (FSD) determines client eligibility for the MO HealthNet program: the MO HealthNet Division administers the MO HealthNet program including establishment of benefit coverage, rates, claims processing, and all other aspects of daily operations.
Services include: CSTAR, women's substance abuse treatment, speakers bureau, behavioral healthcare unit, outpatient services, community support, women & children comprehensive substance treatment and rehabilitation, community and court services program. Transportation is available if it is within the service area. Kennett office offers inpatient treatment program.
