The Illinois State Screening, Assessment and Support Services (SASS) program for children and adolescents. The DuPage County Health Department at this location serves as the Crisis and Referral Entry Service (CARES). Following assessment, the child and family will be connected to ongoing behavioral health and other support services.

Habilitative Systems, Inc. provides a supervised residential homelike environment for persons in crisis situations who suffer psychiatric illness and/or substance abuse. Services are available to persons who are unable to live independently but do not require hospitalization. The program provides linkage to other agencies for day treatment programs, vocational counseling, financial aid, medical care, and counseling.
Sertoma Star Services' Crisis Stabilization program addresses urgent needs by offering a variety of services to assist community members who are experiencing a mental health crisis but lack the necessary support. Every person is assigned a community support specialist to provide support in working through a mental health crisis and accessing necessary resources.
The CCBYS program is a 24-hour crisis response and intervention program for youth ages 11-17. In some cases, they work with children as young as 10 years old who are not locked out of their homes. The team talks with youth and their families to understand the challenges at home. They work quickly to make sure everyone is safe, then make a plan to support the whole family.

Emergency services are crisis services which provide a focused assessment and rapid stabilization of acute symptoms of mental illness or emotional distress and are available and accessible twenty-four hours a day. The clinical assessment and psychotherapeutic services are provided by a mental health professional and/or other staff who have access to a mental health professional for consultation. Emergency services are available by telephone and/or in the office setting.

Pilsen Wellness Center's Mental Health Crisis Care program is a service designed to provide immediate support and stabilization to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. The program offers rapid intervention, ensuring that individuals facing severe emotional distress receive timely care in a supportive environment. The Mental Health Crisis Care Program provides Crisis Stabilization Services on a 24-hour basis, 365 days per year. Services are offered on or off-site. If due to limited coverage, or they are unable to assist an individual, the program will connect them with other crisis services within the 988 network.
