Cornerstone Counseling Center of Chicago provides psychological assessments. A psychological assessment is an evaluation that may consist of a series of formal or structured psychological tests and clinical interviews designed to identify and describe emotional, behavioral, or learning problems.
Individual, family, and/or group counseling for children experiencing problems at home or school. Offers treatment for the emotional and behavioral problems of children and adolescents. Comprehensive psychological testing is available.
Outpatient services are provided on a walk-in or telephone utilization basis. Provides a full-range of confidential counseling for adult emotional problems. A qualified assessment specialist will conduct a comprehensive mental health assessment on all child and adolescent referrals. After their needs are identified, the assessment specialist will recommend the program to fit the child's needs. If the child requires psychiatric medication in addition to primary health care, the family may choose to utilize the on-site family Nurse Practitioner who will be able to provide both services.
