Thresholds' Youth & Young Adult Services (YAYAS) offer groundbreaking programs for adolescents, young adults, families, young mothers, and their children. These programs offer the development skills and support they need to master mental health challenges while reducing the negative impact of those challenges on what matters most to young people: relationships, school success, recreational activities, health and wellness, day-to-day living, and early career experiences. Specializing in the transition to adulthood, Thresholds' Youth & Young Adult Services provide young people with experiential learning within their communities to maximize success. Introduces specialized assessment and treatment services for children using a relationship-based approach. The program provides: - Mental health assessment services to determine if treatment services are appropriate. If additional services are needed, program staff will arrange necessary linkages with community prevention and intervention providers. - Developmental screenings in all areas of development and specialized treatment for infants and young children. - Relationship-based treatment with the parent/caretaker and child.

Infant Welfare Society Children's Clinic provides assessments for identifying concerns or delays in a child's development and to establish the necessity of intervention services. At the clinic, Social workers help the caregivers (mother, father, foster parent, or guardian) understand their child's behavior as being complex and affected by factors (physical health, mental health, home environment, social and economic challenges).
