Following a comprehensive assessment, patients work with their care team to develop an individualized treatment plan tailored to their unique needs and strengths.

Pilsen Wellness Center's Drug Free Program provides Outpatient Substance Use Treatment to persons experiencing alcohol or other drug overuse problems. The program also services persons requiring Substance Use Disorder Evaluations for court proceedings and/or for the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). The Drug Free Program also serves persons in recovery who require continued group counseling, peer recovery support, in collaboration with Alcoholic Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, and AL-ANON.

Family Guidance Centers, Inc.'s medication-assisted treatment, also known as MAT, combines medication with therapy to provide a whole-person approach to opioid addiction treatment. Family Guidance Centers offers MAT using all three federally approved medications for opiate use disorder, which are methadone, buprenorphine (Suboxone), and injectable naltrexone (Vivitrol).
