A free telephone resource that provides tobacco cessation counseling and information to tobacco users who want to quit tobacco use, and tobacco cessation materials to individuals requesting information to give to a tobacco user. There is also a support group offered along with tobacco education.
Gateway is a designated Dual-Diagnosis/Co-occurring mental health & substance abuse treatment facility. Gateway is able to provide treatment to those with substance use disorder, with or without a mental health diagnosis. Substance use treatment options vary by location, but may include: - Residential treatment. - Outpatient treatment. - Virtual addiction treatment. - Detoxification. Provides smoking cessation services in collaboration with the Illinois Department of Public Health & Illinois American Lung Association. Nicotine Replacement Therapy is included for those who do not have insurance that covers them.
Great American Smokeout: A public awareness and educational campaign designed to encourage smokers to quit for one day, potentially starting a smoke-free life.

Seven week eight session Smoking Cessation Program available to everyone. Free one-on-one Freedom from Smoking programs are also available and additional group classes will also be offered free of charge.

Offers an 8-week tobacco cessation program. The McLean County Health Department also encourages smoking cessation with assistance from the Illinois Tobacco Quitline. The Quitline is a free resource for individuals wanting to quit tobacco or tobacco-related products. Residents have access over the phone to nurses, respiratory therapists, and tobacco-cessation specialists who will help create a personalized quit plan. The Health Department also enforces the Smoke-Free Illinois Act and accepts local smoking complaints.
Addresses many of the difficulties of quitting and provides the education and support to ensure that remaining smoke-free will become a permanent lifestyle choice.
