Wigs for Kids does not charge their recipients for the custom wigs.

Monetary donations are needed to underwrite the manufacturing of the hairpieces and distribution.

Natural Hair/Wig Donation Programs

Hair pieces for financially disadvantaged children under age 21 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis.

To donate hair use the following guidelines:

-- 10 inches measured tip to tip is the minimum length needed for donation

-- Hair must be in a ponytail or braid before it is cut

-- Hair must be clean and completely dry before it is mailed in

-- Place the ponytail or braid inside of a plastic bag, and then inside of a padded envelope

-- Fill out the hair donation form, or write your name and address on a separate sheet of paper and include inside the envelope

Accepts donated goods such as: clothing (may be unusable, will bundle), furniture, electronics and appliances (that are in working order), adaptive equipment, household items, toys and games, books, personal care/grooming supplies, household cleaners, sports equipment, baby clothes and baby items. *Clean, gently used, WORKING, appliances and furniture. CAPACITY No Restrictions
Accepts a wide variety of non-monetary donations; call for details about baby items that are accepted; diapers are not accepted.
