Des Plaines Public Library has public access computers and hosts WiFi on site. All computers are equipped with Windows 10, Microsoft Office, Chrome, Firefox, and Edge. Adobe Reader, 7 Zip software & Zoom are also installed on these PCs. Patrons have access to Printers. All computers are also equipped with a screen magnifier and text-to-speech reader.

Wilmette Public Library offers access to public computers and the internet located on the First Floor in the library's Reference Area. Patrons may fax, scan, copy, and print documents, use Windows computers with Microsoft Office 2016 and a selection of internet browsers, and access the digitization station.

Chicago Housing Authority (CHA) has nine Digital Resource Centers (DRCs) located in various CHA family properties and community centers across Chicago. These centers can hold between 20 and 40 people. DRC's are staffed by CHA residents or Housing Choice Voucher Program participants. Each center has computers, updated software, projectors, and Wi-Fi. DRCs offer open computer time, technical help, and special programs for people of all ages.
