Project Based Voucher - Housing Authority of Cook County - Central Management Office

The Housing Authority of Cook County (HACC) will be re-opening its site-based wait lists for one-bedroom project-based voucher (PBV) units for seniors age 55 and older at the following locations: Franklin Towers - 9535 W. Franklin Avenue, Franklin Park, IL 60131Henrich House - 1301 Ashland Avenue, Des Plaines, IL 60016All completed applications will be accepted, but only 150 applicants will be placed on the waitlist. A computer-generated lottery system will be used to determine which applicants are selected and the order of applicants on the waiting list. For those selected, applicants who are currently on the HACC's Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program wait list will receive a preference.

Home Delivered Meal Program - Oak Park Township - Senior Services

Oak Park Township Home Delivered Meal Program is more than a nutritious meal program, it's a friendly check-in from a trusted staff member or volunteer who delivers the meal. Meals are provided for individuals aged 60 and older (regardless of income) who have trouble getting around or preparing their own food. Meals include protein, vegetables, 1% milk or 100% juice, whole grain bread, and fruit. Special diets, including vegetarian, pescatarian, lactose-free, mechanical soft, and pureed meals are accommodated.
