NAMI Chicago provides the Spanish Language Group for Peers & Families. This support group is for people to connect with others who are supporting someone they love with a mental health condition. All support groups are free, safe, and confidential places to talk things through with others, and they are led by people who have had similar experiences too.
The Spanish Parent Group is a support group for Spanish-speaking parents and is intended to provide participants with a chance to discuss various subjects-including parenting and family life, self-care, community resources, and problem-solving-and to provide mutual support and assistance to one another. The group will be open on a rolling basis to any Spanish-speaking parents who are affiliated with Youth Services.
