MS Navigators are highly skilled, compassionate professionals who help connect clients to the information, resources and support needed to move their life with multiple sclerosis forward. These supportive partners help clients navigate the challenges of MS that are unique to their situation.

Provides a location for individuals to get assistance with employment services. Services include the use of computers to work on resumes, fill out job applications, and search for employment. Can also assist with mock interviews, resume and portfolio paper, and printing. 

Provides law enforcement services to the county, including responding to emergency assistance requests through a telephone response service staffed by trained personnel who assess situations and dispatch the appropriate emergency response agency.

Provides immediate, walk-in care for minor injuries and non-emergency illnesses that are not life-threatening but need early attention. Common conditions include sore throat, pink eye, flu, sprains, and strains.

Helps provide a continuum of care for persons living with HIV/AIDS. Clients in the program will be assigned a medical case manager. Case managers can assist clients by linking them with a network of health care and support services. Services may include:

Responsible for the publication and mailing of assessment change notices on all taxable parcels. The office also maintains all records for homestead exemptions. Assists taxpayers with the filing of property tax exemptions and any questions they may have in understanding the assessment process for their property. Also collects all delinquent (past due) taxes from sold properties and issues tax deeds. 

The tax redemption area computes and collects payments for past due or unpaid taxes.

Properties are located in Oregon, Polo, and Forreston. Rent is based on 30% of the applicants income with a minimum rent of $50 per month. There are also established ceiling rents, so depending on the size of the apartment, the rent will not go over a certain amount.

-- Housing Choice Voucher Program:  For this program, participants seek housing in the private rental market. Tenants pay 30% of the rent which is based on their income and the housing authority pays the balance due to the landlord. There is currently an open waiting list for Section 8 vouchers.

Provides drive-thru meals.

Preschool with full- and part-time (2 or 3 days a week) schedules available.

Provides training, support services, and job referral opportunities with employers in Central Illinois for U.S. Military veterans. Can also assist with veterans benefits through a V.A. Accredited Claims Agent who is available by appointment.

Provides assistance to people with little to no income in obtaining pro bono legal assistance from area lawyers and attorneys in specialized fields while also providing compassion, empathy, and a listening ear to all who come seeking help. Through the CCLS program, the program director matches a client's legal case with an area lawyer who has agreed to represent him/her in the court of law.

CCLS provides assistance in the areas of adoption, bankruptcy, child custody and support, debt elimination, employment, environmental issues, family Law, guardianship, immigration, landlord-tenant disputes, real estate transactions, social security benefits, traffic accidents, and wills and probate.

Offers a variety of recreational experiences for all ages, with focus on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

Offers a comprehensive medical facility in the Champaign-Urbana community, offering a full scope of inpatient and outpatient services. Also offers an inpatient rehabilitation center, featuring facilities for physical, occupational, and speech therapy, the Presence Center for Healthy Aging, and the Adult Behavioral Health Unit.

Helps senior citizens, who might otherwise need nursing home care, to remain in their own homes by providing in-home and community-based services. Services include comprehensive care coordination, adult day services, in-home services (cleaning, meals, laundry, shopping/running errands, and personal hygiene), and an automated medication dispenser service.

Head Start is an educational program to help prepare children for transition into kindergarten and provides health screenings and nutrients. Transportation is available at most locations. Early Head Start is specific to meet the developmental needs of infants and toddlers. Offers home-based options with a weekly visit from a teacher in the family's home along with two special days a month for activities with other families.

Provides sexual assault prevention programs for school settings for youth and general community education for both youth and adults.
