Offers monthly deliveries to individuals in need who are unable to visit the library. Individuals that are temporarily – due to illness or injury – or permanently – due to age, disability, or other mobility problems.

Provides services to help survivors of domestic violence, older adults, people with disabilities, and immigrant survivors of violence and trafficking. Services include Orders of Protection for people experiencing domestic violence, divorce, custody, or child support in cases involving domestic violence or child endangerment, elder abuse, including financial exploitation, other court orders to stop abuse, harassment, or stalking, immigration issues faced by survivors of domestic violence and trafficking, and guardianships of minors and adults to ensure safety and stability.

Provides individuals with supplies such as car seats, cribs, diapers, and formula.

Food pantry.

Traveling food pantries deliver food directly to individuals. Working with local community groups and network partners, trucks deliver meat, produce, nonperishable food, and other products to communities where hunger needs surpass the capacity of current food pantry resources.

Offers:

- Systematic Training for Effective Parenting (STEP) for those interested in learning additional parenting skills.

- Children First, a two-session educational program for divorcing parents.

Reimburses for funeral and burial expenses when a person's resources and all other sources of payment are less than the DHS standard payment rates. The maximum amount that DHS will pay is $1370 for a funeral and $686 for a cremation/burial.

Promotes optimal health among county residents by preventing and controlling the spread of communicable diseases. The health department conducts investigations for those diseases reportable to the Illinois Department of Public Health.

Provides assistance to new mothers with newborn children, ages 0-3 months. 

Provides information and referrals to area agencies that offer support services to the Washington and Marion County residents.

Provides an average of 7 days worth of food. Guests may come back during the last half hour of any pantry day and take more fresh produce and bakery items.

Provides opportunities for socialization and therapeutic activities for individuals who may be isolated in the community or who require assistance due to physical, emotional, or mental health challenges. Individualized treatment plans are tailored for clients with physical, cognitive, social, or emotional needs.

Clients are offered door-to-door transportation and buses are staffed with drivers and aides certified in First Aid and CPR. Additionally, a light breakfast and full lunch are included in the day’s program. Participants can attend one day or up to five days per week, depending on their schedules and needs.

This program serves individuals with:

-- Chronic health conditions.

-- Inability to manage independently.

-- Adults who are isolated or lonely.

-- Adults with a diagnosis of Alzheimer's or Dementia.

Food mobiles visit and distribute food in all counties of the coverage area. It is recommended to bring a bag or box to transport food.

Provides services to veterans who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless due to financial hardship, unemployment, addiction, mental health, or justice involvement. Services include immediate food and shelter assistance, including both transitional and permanent housing, outreach to community shelters and places not meant for human habitation, job training, life skills development, and education, financial support to prevent homelessness, addiction and mental health treatment, and justice system navigation and community reentry from incarceration.

Provides clinical services that are non-residential and that include assessment/treatment planning, SUD individual therapy and group treatment. Supportive services that enhance recovery may also include but not limited to case management and medication assisted recovery. The appropriate level of service is determined at screening and can be anywhere from 1-19hrs/week. Level I and II services are provided.

Offers veterans and experts on federal, state, and local veteran resources. Services include assisting veterans to apply for federal and state benefits as well as provide resources related to compensation, pension, health care, education, employment, burial and survivor, housing, permits, transportation, and military records. 

Provides law enforcement services to the community.

Provides free retreats combining respite, recreation and support, for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families through the various stages of a child’s illness. The program is offered year-round and has the distinction of having been designed to serve the entire family in a retreat model. The program is free of charge to families and includes on-site medical support. Travel assistance is also available and prioritized for families attending Camp Sunshine for the first time. The program serves families of children with cancer, hematologic conditions, renal disease, systemic lupus erythematosus, and those who have undergone solid organ transplantation. Offering programs to children and families at various stages of illness, and seek to provide forums for families in unique circumstances within the general populations that it serves. Bereavement programs are also offered to families who have attended in the past or who have experienced the death of a child from a supported illness.

Provides emergency financial assistance for rent evictions and utility shut-off notices.

Under the direction of a physician, a team of health care professionals will develop a plan of care based on individual needs. Services offered to home health patients include but are not limited to:

- Case Management.

- Telemonitoring.

- Rehabilitation Services.

- Supportive Counseling.

- Pediatric Care.

- Intravenous Therapy.

- Pain Management.

- Wound and Ostomy Care.

- Diabetes Management.

Registered nurses are available 24 hours a day by phone to provide specialty care for patients with virtually any medical diagnosis.

OSF Home Care also offers:

- Diabetes Supply Program which provides comprehensive, convenient supply services and home delivery of diabetes products.

- Home Infusion Pharmacy which specializes in providing home intravenous therapies, clinical therapy management, and other related support services not available from most traditional retail pharmacies.

Provides children and families who have experienced domestic violence, family violence, or community violence with a comprehensive continuum of care. Provides community education, training, and direct services to children who have been exposed to violence, but are not involved in the formal child welfare system. Services provided include, home visiting, resource and referral, case management, individual and family counseling, play therapy, and other therapeutic services.
