Provides tobacco cessation counseling and information to tobacco users who want to quit tobacco use, and tobacco cessation materials to individuals requesting information to give to a tobacco user. There is also a support group offered along with tobacco education.

Offers 10-week long internships for individuals with disabilities that provide vocational skills in a variety of hospital departments. At the completion of the internships, students are placed into competitive employment.

Three main categories of internships:

- Operations: stocking linens and supplies, dock, assembling and cleaning equipment, delivering linens/equipment, completing work orders, sanitizing, etc.

- Clerical: data entry, scanning, making and receiving phone calls, alphabetizing, minimal patient interaction, shredding, using copying machines, sorting mail, etc.

- Hospitality: food and beverage prep, customer service, cashiering, stocking food items, cleaning spills, catering, refilling creamer and coffee machines, catering, identifying specialty items, etc.

Provides approved clients with job placements in Springfield for up to 70 hours per month over a 9-month period. Program helps build work experience, learn job skills, and earn a paycheck.

Donations of furniture and household items are tax-deductible and may be dropped off at the warehouse anytime during normal business hours, pick up service can be arranged.

Provides congregate and home delivered meals to seniors. Meals are accompanied by social, recreational, and informational activities.

Home-delivered meals available to home-bound seniors in need.

Provides a supplemental package of food and nutrition education for income-eligible women, infants, and children up to five years of age. Will also provide case management services for income-eligible pregnant women and children up to age one. Helps pregnant women apply for All Kids insurance and find an OB/GYN for pregnancy services.

Offers the Coffee's On program, the Indoor Walking program and the Batavia Senior Citizens Club (BSCC).

- Coffee's On program offers a place where seniors can have coffee, play card, and converse.

• Indoor Walking Program offers a place for walking when weather does not permit outdoor activity.
• BSCC hosts monthly entertainment and informative programs followed by a refreshment/lunch and social period.

  Offers a Medical Assistance Program (MAP), driving services for individuals needing to get to medical appointments, lock box installations (secure emergency access into homes), and smoke and CO detector checks/installations/battery replacements through the Batavia Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP).

- MAP: Payment assistance for prescription medication co-pays and deductibles, annual stipend for dental services and hearing aid battery replacements.

Offers domestic, international, and interstate adoption programs for families wishing to adopt a child. A social worker will assess the family prior to adoption. Adoption competent therapy available for adopted children & teens, adult adoptee's, adoptive parents, birth parents, and families.
