Once Livanta receives the phone call about the appeal, they will call the patients’ health care provider to request their medical records. Once that is received, the Livanta physician reviewer will review the record and will decide whether the patient is healthy enough to be discharged. After the review is complete, the patient will receive a phone call and a letter from Livanta with the decision.

Family Support Groups are free, confidential, and safe groups of families helping other families who live with mental health challenges by utilizing their collective lived experiences and learned group wisdom.

Offers behavioral health center providing comprehensive psychiatric care that complements the counseling and therapy programs. The psychiatric team provides evaluations, medication management, and follow-up care for clients of all ages. Taking an integrated approach, coordinating with counselors, primary care providers, and community organizations to ensure each client receives the right care at the right time.

Investigates complaints of discrimination in the areas of employment, housing, public accommodations, and financing.

Assists low-income homeowners and renters pay for a portion of their primary heating costs for the winter heating season. Assistance is based on household income, size, type of fuel and type of housing. Application period is from October 1-August 31 for elderly and disabled households and November 1-August 31 for the rest of the households. Persons applying must meet 200% poverty guidelines.

LIHEAP also offers a crisis program that may be able to assist homeowners who are with no heat or limited heat. The furnace component for crisis runs October 1-April 30th.

Senior Community Services Employment Program provides unemployed, low-income older adults with part-time jobs working in local nonprofit, government, and faith-based agencies providing services in the community.

CPR, First Aid, and AED training programs.

A voluntary home visiting program that helps new and expectant parents strengthen their family's functioning and reduce their risk for child abuse and/or neglect. The program provides guidance about child development, child safety, and good parenting skills while providing support to the family.

Doula services are also available. This includes prenatal information and support, labor coaching, breastfeeding, postpartum depression support, and assistance in the early weeks after childbirth
