Designed to assist Social Security Disability (SSI/SSDI) beneficiaries with the transition from Social Security Disability Benefits to work. It provides employment supports and services to help reach work goals.

RAMP also has a certified Community Partner Work Incentives Counselor (CPWIC) that can assist individuals with understanding their benefits and the changes that will occur once employed.

Provides up to $150 to families for utilities, diapers, groceries, gas for vehicles, and other needs.

Offers scholarships, amounts are dependent of funding levels, to income eligible individuals in Will County, who are planning to attend accredited Illinois University, community college, technical or vocational schools. Preference is given to applicants of racial or ethnic minorities.

Provides monthly assistance to adults who are not receiving, or do not qualify, for programs administered by the Department of Human Services (DHS). Assistance may be provided for basic living needs, such as utilities, shelter, food, personal essentials, and medical care.

Programs offered include self-advocacy and awareness, life skills training, braille training, TTY training, personal assistant information, interpreter referrals and equipment demonstration and loan.

Offers a variety of items available for check out, including books, DVDs, audio books, art prints, and a digital collection of databases, e-books, and e-audio. Provides free public access computers, wireless Internet, readers advice, reference services, and paid services such as printing, faxing, copying, and passport services at the main library.

Additionally, offers computer literacy training programs that include instruction on using computers, related hardware, and applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, database management, electronic publishing, image processing, and social media tools. Classes are available for individuals of all ages and skill levels, ranging from introductory to advanced topics, including the use of smartphones and online publishing tools like blogs, vlogs, photo sharing, podcasting, and wikis.

Provides the city government departments and other city information.

Offers assistance for older adults, who might otherwise need nursing home care, to remain in their own homes by providing in-home and community-based services. Services include comprehensive care coordination, adult day services, in-home services (cleaning, meals, laundry, shopping/running errands, and personal hygiene), emergency home response service, and automated medication dispenser service.

Provides an alternative school giving students another change to succeed. Offering tools, support and different teaching methods to help students learn in the way that works best for them.

Offers health education on teen pregnancy, heart disease, injury prevention, sexually transmitted infections, and HIV/AIDS.

Offers medication management, a strategy for engaging with patients to create a holistic approach to mental health. It includes prescribing medication, possibly changes to an existing prescription or simply refilling a current medication.

Offers a housing assistance program that provides education about housing stability, permanent housing opportunities, assistance with applying for and securing permanent housing, ongoing case management for residential and non-residential clients.

Serves as a crisis team with an Engagement Specialist and Crisis Counselor providing mobile crisis response intervention including on-site counseling, mental health evaluation, and asessment for psychiatric hospitalization.

Offers a food pantry, providing shelf-stable pantry items. In addition, each location offers a variety of breads and treats from local bakeries.

Offers opportunities to meet new people and explore new places. Helps members navigate the complex world of friendship and connection. Social Coaches work with individuals and groups to build skills that create fulfilling connections. Membership is required.

-- Social Opportunities: Provides weekly events where members can connect with other members with disabilities. Staff support members as much as they need. The purpose of social opportunities is to meet other people and explore community spaces.

-- Co-Op Meetings: Provides quarterly information sessions to members with disabilities and their families (who are also members). Provides information about disability services in the area and how to better utilize Community Choices services and programs. Co-Op meetings also include a 30-minute social time for everyone to connect and catch up with the cooperative community.

Provides a combination of electricity, natural gas and fiber optic Internet services.

Provides one-on-one and group mentorships to students ages 8-18. Program includes volunteers becoming mentors, advocates, and role models for community youth. 

Provides hot meals to those in need. Upon request, can also make to-go lunches. To-go lunches include a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, a bag of pretzels/salty treat, a bag of cookies, and a piece of fruit. Guests are given one to-go lunch per person each day.
