Emergency assistance provides financial aid for families with children to alleviate a life threatening circumstance or to assist in attaining self-sufficiency; residents must have a late, eviction or disconnect (utilities) notice to be eligible for this program. Also covers residents of Andalusia Township, IL. Emergency housing assistance through FEMA funds; those seeking assistance may apply when the money becomes available around February or March and it is first come first serve basis; must have been denied both General and Emergency Assistance through the township.

Provides comprehensive classroom and home-based services to pregnant women and children birth to age five, including children with significant special needs.

CEFS Outreach offices do not serve the program; the program provides services from their own classroom/office locations. (See the notes in Coverage Area for more details.)

Provides free and confidential sexual assault/abuse and crime victim services to anyone that has been sexually assaulted/abused. Off-site/out-of-office services provided include trauma-informed services, counseling/therapy, legal advocacy, medical advocacy, social services and basic needs advocacy/case management, safety planning, 24/7 crisis helplines, and 24/7 crisis intervention at hospitals/law enforcement. Service plans based upon services client wants to receive.

Also provides community trainings in Professional settings and offers Information about Services.

Telehealth is provided for those that need, or would like it.

Offers help to people who are experiencing problems with substance abuse. Services include, DUI Evaluations, DUI risk education, Secretary of State Investigatory Reports, group counseling, educational groups, drug screening, outpatient assessments, individual Sessions, and Secretary of State updates.

Services include but are not limited to Acute childhood and adolescent illnesses and injuries.

Supports low-income individuals (including immigrants) by providing access to public benefits and essential services.

Open to the community at large, the program operates through a network of partner agencies that provide interpretation and translation assistance for benefits applications, educate communities about available resources, and offer case management services such as needs assessments, benefits screening, application support, and connections to IDHS offices.

Offers a food pantry.

Offers support and education to individuals with epilepsy and seizure issues in need of mental health wellness. Services may include meeting with a clinician to identify challenges, individual, couple, or family counseling sessions, mindfulness training, and substance abuse support. 

Provides in home support services to help individuals stay in their home. Homemaker assistance services include housekeeping, laundry, trash collection / disposal, meal planning/preparation, grocery shopping, and running errands.
