Rich Township General Assistance Program provides a monetary award to Rich Township residents of at least 18 years old who are unemployed or disabled, and who are not receiving any other form of income. College students are encouraged to apply. The recipient's income must not exceed $600 per month to be eligible. Those who receive the stipend must provide community service and/or pursue education and employment as directed by the office unless exempt due to a disability or medical issue.The Rich Township General Assistance Program provides Township residents aged 18-62 with financial assistance in the form of a monthly $475 stipend for utilities, shelter, and food. The General Assistance Department also is able to help with Social Security disability and TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) benefits for residents who are 18 years or older heading an independent household.

CEDA's LIHEAP programs offer heat and electricity assistance through the DVP and PIPP Programs. DVP (Direct Vendor Payment) issues a one-time benefit applied directly to your utility accounts. Please note, PIPP is not an available option for new customers, only for existing PIPP-enrolled customers. Cash payments are also available to eligible renters who do not have heating bills because their energy costs are included in the rent. Additional benefits for those enrolled in LIHEAP include access to home weatherization services, energy saving kits, and broken ("red-tagged") or otherwise malfunctioning furnace/boiler replacement assistance.On November 1, all income eligible households may apply. The LIHEAP DVP Program will be resuming October 1st to October 31st for the following households and populations:Households with an older adult, age 60 and over;Households with a person living with a disability;Families with children aged 5 and under;Households who are disconnected from one or more of their utilities or in jeopardy of being disconnected from one or both utilities.

The Rental Assistance Program (RAP) provides funding to Chicagoans who are at risk of becoming homeless. RAP helps Chicagoans who have housing right now, but who may become homeless soon because they are experiencing a temporary loss or reduction in income that makes it difficult to pay rent. This program is intended to provide short-term support while promoting long-term housing stability.RAP is open to all Chicago residents regardless of legal immigration status. Rental assistance is not a "public-charge" benefit. If you are a person living with HIV, specific resources are available by calling the HIV Resource Coordination Hub at 1-844-HUB-4040.

A Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)provides a more intensive treatment than an IOP. Participants attend group treatment sessions for four hours a day, five days a week, allowing participants to return home or to a supportive environment outside of treatment hours. PHP offers a higher level of support and structure than IOP. In addition to the 20 hours a week of group work this program requires, PHP will require participants to set aside additional time for individual therapy, treatment planning sessions, family/support person therapy as recommended, and psychiatric monitoring.
