Benefits are provided on the Illinois Link Card, an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card that is accepted at most grocery stores.Additionally, IDHS offers the SNAP Employment & Training Job Placement program for those not exempt from SNAP work requirements such as Able-Bodied Adults Without Dependents (ABAWD). Work eligible SNAP recipients can obtain intensive case management, education such as reading and writing and math instruction or enrollment in GED or ESL classes, job skills training like computer literacy, pre-employment services like career mentoring, and unsubsidized job placement with retention services.

This network of attorneys and organizations allows FLAP to provide low-income workers who have suffered damages without receiving any compensation with reliable legal assistance. FLAP gives information to low-income workers and makes referrals to other organizations and skilled litigation attorneys with extensive experience in areas including but not limited to: employment, personal injury, consumer, nursing home abuse and neglect, medical malpractice, education, housing, wrongful death, birth injury, product liability, car, trucking, bus, and aviation accidents, premises liability, Federal Torts Claims Act, Assisted Living Negligence, home health care abuse and neglect, DUI, Social Security Disability, family law, Immigration, Breach of Contracts, medical malpractice and workers compensation among others.

A Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)provides a more intensive treatment than an IOP. Participants attend group treatment sessions for four hours a day, five days a week, allowing participants to return home or to a supportive environment outside of treatment hours. PHP offers a higher level of support and structure than IOP. In addition to the 20 hours a week of group work this program requires, PHP will require participants to set aside additional time for individual therapy, treatment planning sessions, family/support person therapy as recommended, and psychiatric monitoring.
