The resiliency services team is composed of two departments: victim advocacy and case management. Victim advocates walk with families and individuals directly affected by violence. The goal is for parties most affected by criminal actions to have an opportunity to safely meet, assisted by a volunteer mediator, to discuss what happened, how it felt when it happened, how it feels now, what is needed for restitution. Specialized training is offered to anyone interested in becoming a volunteer mediator. Time commitment for volunteer hours will vary depending upon the cases referred.
