Children's Research Triangle provides trauma and treatment for children and their families via clinical services. Services include therapy, psychological evaluations, developmental evaluations, and medical evaluations. These services are primarily focused on children under 18 from the south and west sides of Chicago.

Lurie Children's Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics is a multidisciplinary group that specializes in the diagnostic evaluation and treatment of children with developmental delays, autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, learning disabilities, and intellectual disabilities.
Provides complete care to children from birth to age 18. Services include: - Developmental assessments - Hearing and dental screening - Basic vision testing - Immunizations - Lead testing
Evaluation of developmental delays for children and adolescents, through psychological testing and neurodevelopmental evaluations. Services include multi-disciplinary autism spectrum evaluations.
Provides a structured evaluation of a person's development and abilities - including physical, language, intellectual, social and emotional.
Assists in identifying if an individual has a learning disability and if so in what area. Also completes assessment to identify Autism Spectrum Disorders such as Autism, Asperger's and Pervasive Developmental Disorder.

HealthWorks of Illinois: Receives reports from delivering hospitals on infants with adverse pregnancy outcomes. Nurses make follow-up visits with the clients to complete physical and developmental assessments.
Provides cognitive assessments (gifted, intellectual disability assessments) with the client and includes clinical and collateral interviews, completion of self-report and collateral behavior rating scales, cognitive testing, measures of adaptive behavior (if indicated), and review of records.
Pediatricians and pediatric nurse practitioners provides developmental evaluations regarding a child's growth, physical movements, behavior, play, interactions with family members, physical exam, hearing and eye screenings, play observation, and standardized tests that present the child with specific tasks to determine areas of strength and weakness.
The Special School District (SSD) works with parents and educators to help identify educational concerns and develop an Individualized Education Plan (IEP). An IEP is a meeting where parents, students (if appropriate) and school personnel make decisions about an educational program for a student with a disability. It is also the written document of the decisions reached at the meeting for the student who will receive special education and related services and it is a management tool used to implement an educational program specific to the student's needs.
The district assessment team consists of three staff members who individually test and assess students referred by district schools due to difficulties with learning. Special testing is available for students with exceptional needs. Assessments are done in the areas of cognitive development, achievement, speech, language and behavior after which complete diagnostic reports are written. CAPACITY No Restrictions
Suburban Access - Child and Family Connections #7 facilitates early intervention screenings for all children under the age of three and potentially have developmental delays including behavioral, vision, hearing, cognitive, physical, speech, social-emotional, or adaptive self-help skill delays or have risk of delay. The fees for the Illinois Early Intervention Program are based on a family's size and income. Families are required to first utilize their private insurance if applicable. The Early Intervention Program will pay for necessary therapies and services not covered by the family's insurance.

Vox Chicago provides assessment to identify concerns or delays in a child's development.
The Place for Children with Autism - Pilsen provides the Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program, or VBMAPP. Using the VBMAPP, they determine baseline skills and assess a child's current milestones relating to language, learning, and social skills of children with autism or other developmental disabilities.
Union Health Service (UHS) - Polk Street Center provides assessments for identifying concerns or delays in infant's and toddler's development and to establish the necessity of intervention services.

Lurie Children's Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics is a multidisciplinary group that specializes in the diagnostic evaluation and treatment of children with developmental delays, autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, learning disabilities, and intellectual disabilities.
Angel Harvey Family Health Center's Child Development Support Services provides a Specialist who is present in the Pediatric Clinic to see all newborns for developmental screening, to assist with problems with lactation, and to educate parents on child safety including car seats. From ages 3-6, child development specialists assist families dealing with poor verbal communication and behavioral and sensory issues; conduct additional developmental screenings; provide parent education and support; provide nutrition education for children with feeding issues; and provide behavioral and disciplinary interventions, social and emotional support, and language support. Parents are also given information about free or low-cost programs for their children through various resources. Child Psychiatry diagnoses and treats disorders of thinking, feeling, and/or behavior through medication affecting children, adolescents, and their families. The Child Psychiatry department works closely with the therapists in the CACS program, the child development specialists, and clinical providers.
