Screenings at Autism Clinic for Occupational, Physical, Assistive Technology and Speech-Language therapies for individuals living with developmental delays and disabilities.
Infant Welfare Society Children's Clinic provides assessments for identifying concerns or delays in a child's development and to establish the necessity of intervention services. At the clinic, Social workers help the caregivers (mother, father, foster parent, or guardian) understand their child's behavior as being complex and affected by factors (physical health, mental health, home environment, social and economic challenges).

- Cerebral palsy.

- Down syndrome.

- Spina bifida.

- Torticollis.

- Plagiocephaly.

- Genetic disorders.

- Hypotonia.

- Toe walking.

- Post-surgical rehabilitation.

Occupational Therapy: Increases a child's independence and quality of life while targeting areas including:

- Daily living skills.

- Sensory processing.

- Self-regulation.

- Motor skills.

- Coordination.

Treatment includes an emphasis on educating the caregivers and providing strategies to increase participation in their home and community environments.

Serves as a single point of entry for Aurora families with children from birth to age 5 who are interested in learning more about and enrolling in early childhood programs and resources.

Developmental Screenings give parents time to talk about their child's development and offers fun and simple activity ideas to use with their child to help them continue to learn and grow.

Encourages city, state, and federal representatives to raise awareness of the value and importance of early childhood development and to influence policy.

Pediatric Health Services: Provides complete care to children from birth to age 18. Screening includes social, cognitive, vision, hearing, and motor skills. Also provides information packet to support the child after screening.
