Medical Debt Care DuPage: Program helping low-income DuPage County residents apply for financial assistance to pay their medical bills, including hospital, ambulance, doctor's office, and bills in collection. Services are provided virtually or in-person.
United Healthcare Children's Foundation offers grants for medical expense assistance. Families must meet economic guidelines, reside in the United States and have a commercial health insurance plan.
Provides unrestricted emergency financial assistance for household expenses, health care expenses such as health insurance premiums or treatment related expenses.
Provides financial aid up to $100 per year per patient for chemotherapy, transfusions, radiation, and some incidental medical expenses for patients with leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, multiple myeloma, or other blood-related cancers.

Surgery Fund: Scholarship-like program that provides financial assistance to trans folk who cannot afford their gender-affirming surgery. HRT Access Fund: Scholarship-like program that provides financial assistance to trans folk who cannot afford their gender-affirming hormone replacement therapy (HRT). Agency partners with Plume, Folx, QueerMed, and QueerDoc to provide recipients with 12 months of: - Medical care through initial and regular telemedical visits. - Lab work and monitoring 3 times throughout the year. - 24/7 text access to a predominantly trans care team. - Any medical letters that may be needed related to transitioning. - Prescription cost coverage. Electrolysis Support Fund: Scholarship-like program that provides financial assistance towards permanent hair removal services (including electrolysis and laser hair removal) for trans folk who cannot otherwise afford them. Grants total $1,250 per recipient paid directly to electrologist or laser hair removal provider.

Provides financial assistance to individuals living with blood cancer. Eligible individuals can receive assistance with medical insurance premiums; treatment-related co-pays; deductibles and co-insurance (for expenses covered by the program); co-pays for prescription medication related to prescribed treatment; and co-pays for non-diagnostic labs, scans, and tests. The Leukemia Research Foundation Patient Grant Program is intended to assist patients and their families by easing the financial burden so they can focus on their health and treatment.The Patient Grant Program offers a one-time grant to eligible leukemia patients living in Illinois or within 100 miles of Chicago.The maximum grant is $1,500 per applicant.
