Telephone Reassurance: Provides telephone calls at specified times to or from senior citizens who live alone, to determine if they require special assistance, to provide psychological reassurance and reduce isolation.
Worth Township Senior Services Department offers a variety of activities and services for senior citizens. Some of the events that take place are senior fitness, day trips, bingo, crocheting, foodie clubs, and much more. Groups also meet to play Pinochle, Mexican Train, and Bridge. Village of South Chicago Heights Wellness Check Program monitors the wellness of resident seniors. Senior residents can call the Village Hall daily just to let them know they are okay. In the event that they may forget to call, a staff member will call to check on them.

Guardian System - Computerized phone system that makes calls to registered members on pre-set days and times to make sure they are okay.

Well-being checks on registered seniors, as part of the department's SALT (Seniors and Law Enforcement Together). The department will call seniors at pre-determined time each morning.
Offers friendly visits from volunteers for older adults who live alone or are seeking companionship. Offers in-person visits and phone calls.
Senior Assistance Center provides a Telephone Reassurance Program for 60 years and older who wish to receive well-being calls. The goal of the program is to eliminate or reduce some of the concerns facing homebound seniors: isolation, loneliness, depression, anxiety and cognitive decline.
