Grand Prairie Services (GPS) Child and Adolescent Home-Based Services Program helps youths aged 0-17 who are having challenges in the way they are developing socially or emotionally or are having challenges adjusting to changes at home or at school. Works with individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing to develop case plans for evaluations, treatment and care for those who have mental, emotional or social concerns. Appointments may be offered via phone, video, and in person.

Offers mental health 24-hour assessment, partial hospitalization, psychiatric outpatient treatment programs. Grand Prairie Services (GPS) Linkage Care Management services provide supportive services for individuals in all State-operated mental health facilities. Care management services include the provision of support such as planning, coordination, advocacy, and professional consultation with other providers of service and assistance with the transition of living arrangements.This program ensures that consumers who have been evaluated for or admitted to the State-operated psychiatric facility receive prompt follow-up care in the community. Linkage Care Management staff participate in discharge planning activities while the individual is in the hospital.

Direct Clinical Services such as Outpatient Therapy: Individual, Family and Group, Psychiatric Evaluation, Medication Management, Psychological Evaluation and Testing, and Child Sexual Abuse Victim Treatment: Individual and Group.

School Based Mental Health and Outreach Services such as Outpatient Therapy at school and other locations, Child Mental Health training for school personnel, Case oriented consultation for school personnel, and Case Management Services like Healthy Start/Empowerment.

Early Childhood Mental Health Services Birth to age 5 such as Information and resources, Classroom observations, Professional training and education workshops, and Mental health assessment and treatment.

Community Services include Parent child skill building groups and Parent Education using Parents as Teachers model.
