Free 8-session class taught by trained NAMI members. The Family to Family curriculum focuses on: - Schizophrenia. - Bipolar disorder (manic depression). - Clinical depression. - Panic disorder. - Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). The course discusses the clinical treatment of these illnesses and teaches the knowledge and skills that family members need to cope more effectively. Classes are offered twice a year. NAMI Champaign County also provides monthly educational presentations and can provide an in-service for teachers and staff to help identify the symptoms of mental illness in children.
Provides Primary Care services and Men's Health services. Primary Care services include: - Preventive Care (including, but not limited to): immunizations, physical exams (for school, work, and sports), screenings/tests (for breast cancer, heart disease, and other conditions). - Chronic Care (including, but not limited to): asthma, diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, and obesity. Men's Health services include: - Preventive care and annual physicals. - General men's health and wellness screenings. - Behavioral health assessments and treatment. - Care coordination. - Health education. - STD screenings and treatment. - Help with managing chronic conditions like diabetes, asthma, and high blood pressure.

Health Screening and Evaluation: Services provided to assist individuals to secure and maintain a favorable condition of health by helping them identify and understand their physical and mental health needs and to secure and utilize necessary medical treatment. The focus of this service is on identifying and evaluating the health needs of older persons and linking them to the health care system, not on diagnosis, monitoring and treatment.
Mental Health: Helps consumers stay on track by focusing on independent living skills, peer to peer interaction and support, advocacy and information and referral. Educational materials, a lending library, mental health literature, and information on area mental health services are also available.
Provides suicide prevention skills training to service providers working with youth.
Consultation and Educational Services: Provides education about mental health, healthy living and support through suicide prevention campaigns, Mental Health First Aid training, community health fairs, event participation and more.

School-Based Counselors are master's level clinical social workers that provide comprehensive, destigmatized mental health services to youth and families, with a focus on addressing risk factors and enhancing coping, problem-solving, and communication skills. They work with teachers, administrators, and other school staff as well as parents and other family members to build the support networks that are key for long-term youth development.

The LoSAH Center of Hope/Centro de Esperanza provides mental health care to community residents of Logan Square, Avondale, & Hermosa in Chicago. Because they are taxpayer-funded, they can only serve a specific area of the city. The LoSAH Center offers bilingual individual, couples, & family therapy to individuals with a variety of insurances, as well as uninsured individuals.

NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) provides educational classes about mental illness for families; for adults living with a mental illness; and for the general public. NAMI provides support resources for family members and individuals affected by mental illness; and provides advocacy training to help the public work to improve mental health resources. NAMI Chicago provides the Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP), an 8-week wellness class for people with mental health symptoms and conditions.
