Chicago Treatment and Counseling Center III offers treatment of opiate dependency. It is administered on a 30-day cycle and assists in addiction recovery by inhibiting the body's craving to use opiates and minimizing detox and withdrawal symptoms. The Suboxone Program begins with a comprehensive evaluation and physical by our clinical and medical staff. Once the evaluation is completed, a prescription is written to obtain Suboxone from a local pharmacy. Within one week, the patient returns to the program for a follow-up visit. Thereafter, visits occur once per month (or more frequently if deemed necessary or requested by the client).

Lawndale Christian Health Center (LCHC) offers specialized treatment for patients with a substance use disorder (SUD). Many of their Providers have received certification to offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT), which is available at all clinic sites. MAT combines the use of medication and behavioral health therapies to treat SUD, sustain recovery, and prevent overdose. Christian Community Health Center (CCHC) is licensed by the Division of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery (SUPR) and has received HRSA funding to expand their behavioral health services to include a Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program for individuals who develop a dependence on opioids or alcohol.CCHC's MAT Care Team consists of a medical provider (prescriber), a Substance Abuse Counselor, and a Community Health Worker who will work together to help patients and clients create and execute a plan to end their use of opioids and alcohol and lead to a healthier life.
