Investigators conduct a confidential interview with persons diagnosed with an infectious disease that could lead to an outbreak. Interviews help confirm to the diagnosis, determine the source of infection, and limit the spread of the disease.

Intensive, research-based child development and family support services for families with children from birth to age three, with an aim of building a strong early learning foundation and preparing children for later school success.
SAL Community Services’ Prevention Initiative program offers early, continuous child development and family support services in Rock Island County.
The comprehensive year-round program is for families with children currently enrolled in SAL’s early childhood programs, including Skip-a-Long Childhood Centers and select licensed homes within our Home Child Care Network. It is also available to new families in the community who are interested in establishing a strong early learning foundation for their children.

Works with income-eligible homeowners to make their homes safer and more energy efficient by eliminating heat loss and air infiltration areas in the home. After the initial assessment, recommendations on home improvements are given to the homeowner and the Weatherization team will coordinate repairs with contractors. Examples of common improvements include sealing cracks, insulating attics, or repairing windows and doors. All improvements are completed at no cost to the homeowner.
Additional priority is given to households with elderly, disabled, and young children.

- Patient must reside and receive treatment in the United States

All funds have income guidelines of either 300% or 400% or less of the Federal Poverty Guideline (FPG) with consideration for the Cost of Living Index (COLI) and the number in the household
- Patient will be informed immediately upon application if they qualify for assistance
