Provides in-home delivery of hot meals 5 days a week. Must be at home to receive delivery.

Services include:

- Long term residential placement for youth 10-18 years of age. Outpatient substance abuse treatment and therapy services are available for youth placed in the long-term residential program.

- Behavioral health services for youth 5-18 years of age depending on the program or service.

- Volunteer mentoring program for 3rd through 12th graders, in math or reading skills.

- Family preservation services in Iowa and Nebraska.

- Educational programs for professionals working with youth.

Classes are offered in the areas of prenatal care, parenting, relationships, homemaking, and spirituality. Attending classes is one of many ways that clients can earn Mommy Money, which can then be spent for items in The Pregnancy Center's boutique.

Offers assistance with job search and job readiness, including access to job postings, work-based learning opportunities, and internship placements. Maintains and provides lists of organizations that offer job training resources upon request.

Works to improve business, education, and the quality of life in the community. Plans community events and networking opportunities, supports civic programs, and funds scholarships for the entrepreneurs of tomorrow.

Provides practical information for anyone to access in the areas served. Education services include agriculture, horticulture, family and consumer economics, nutrition and wellness, and youth development. The website has information about different programming options available.

Provides financial assistance for utility bills. 

Offers to assist individuals with a mental health diagnosis in obtaining employment. Evaluation and individualized treatment plans include: job searching, job coaching, vocational rehabilitation, assistance with resume writing, mock interviews, on-the-job supports, benefits planning, other skill-based supports for obtaining and maintaining employment.

Provides all standard childhood vaccines, many adult vaccinations, some travel vaccinations, and flu vaccinations. Call or visit the office to inquire about specific vaccinations and immunizations.

Assists people with learning disabilities in the following ways:

- Monitors and advises the Illinois State Board of Education on issues dealing with students with learning disabilities.

- Provides advocacy information and support to parents, individuals with learning disabilities and professionals.

- Provides scholarships for post-secondary education for students with learning disabilities.

- Provides the Robert Abbott Scholarship for students who are in school to become a teacher in the field of Special Education.

- Provides and support workshops and mini-conferences for educators and parents.

- Increases public awareness of learning disabilities throughout Illinois.

- Provides scholarships for membership and workshop fees for parents of children with learning disabilities, and for adults with learning disabilities.

Serves families interested in adopting a child. Allows birth parents and adoptive parents to design an adoption plan that is in the best interest of the child, and recognizes the importance of the adoptive parents and birth parents developing an on-going relationship. Services include counseling young women who are pregnant, adoption orientations, adoption home studies for domestic and international adoptions, as well as for special needs adoptions, post-placement supervision, finalization services, ongoing support groups, and adoption searches.

LIHEAP (low income home energy assistance program) provides assistance with a utility bill. Applications are accepted November 1 – April 30; for elderly or disabled individuals applications are accepted starting October 1. Income must fall within 200% of poverty guideline. Call for an appointment. A letter has been sent to those who may be eligible for early application in August or September.

**This program is not designed to pay a household's total energy costs. The program will provide supplemental assistance based on several factors. This is a one-time payment to your energy provider.

Runs a screening process that provides financial assistance toward eyeglasses for those found eligible.

Provides court mandated parenting education for custody disputes and is designed to help parents learn how to make informed, child-supportive decisions during separation and divorce. Individual sessions are available for an additional fee. Meets the 4-hour parenting education requirement of Illinois Rule 924.

Provides temporary emergency shelter to individuals and their children experiencing domestic violence.

Resale/thrift stores that sell tools, household items, furniture, clothing, shoes and boots, kitchenware, electronics, toys, books, and movies. Donations are accepted at stores when open.

Provides professional counseling and casework services for individuals, marriages, and families experiencing a variety of social, emotional, and interpersonal problems. Works with a variety of issues such as, anxiety, depression, family and adolescent issues.

The goal is to provide clients with the skills necessary to surmount a problem, and/or link to the services that may help prevent a recurrence of the crisis that caused them to seek out services.

Telehealth services are available.

Provides the delivery of hot and healthy noontime meals to an individual in the comfort and privacy of their own home. All Meals are heart healthy and diabetic safe. The meals provide one-third of the recommended daily allowance of nutrition. Specialized diets including renal, low lactose, and pureed are also available.

Provides counseling services for various needs, including emotional or behavioral concerns and sexual abuse.
