Tax Counseling for the Elderly offers free tax help for all, with priority assistance to people age 60 and older. Most sites are operated by the AARP Foundation.

Medical advocacy is available for participant emergencies or to address ongoing health concerns. Services are available on an individual basis as well as in group settings with other survivors.

Offers free and confidential pregnancy testing, birthing classes. Also helps with material items diapers, formula, clothing, maternity clothing and more on a limited basis, provides limited ultrasound, STD testing and treatment, and parenting Classes (court mandated and voluntary).

Provides financial assistance for those experiencing financial hardship from a layoff, mental health issues, or strain from medical bills. Various assistance includes, rent and mortgage assistance, food help, transportation expense help, and prescription medication costs assistance.

Assists individuals with disabilities who are currently residing in a nursing home and want to move to their own home. Services include:

- Information on accessible and affordable housing options.

- Financial assistance with the cost of moving back into the community.

- Assistance in locating personal assistants.

- Independent living skills training.

- Information and referrals to community agencies and other support services.

- Information on assistive technology and devices.

- Determining eligibility for DRS Home Services.

- Advocacy.

- Benefits counseling and referral.

- Peer counseling.

Provides families with information in Spanish and links them to services in Spanish. Services provided include outreach, advocacy, interpretation, translation services, case management, and information and referrals.

Provides individual and group counseling is available for survivors of sexual assault and abuse, and their non-offending supporters. The goal is to give visitors a safe place to connect with and explore their feelings.

Provides programs for the youth that promote health, social, educational, cultural, leadership and character development. Programs include arts, character and leadership development, education and career development, health and life skills, sports, fitness, and recreation. Dinner is offered for members weekdays through the school year, with lunch and a snack offered during weekdays through the summer. 

Provided to ensure the health of mothers in the Cass County area. Services include finding health care coverage, finding a health care provider or dentists, education to promote a healthy pregnancy, evaluate emotional stress and family adjustment to pregnancy and parenting, oral health services, arranging transportation to medical and dental appointments, making doctor appointments, social support and guidance, nutrition education and home visit after delivery of the baby.

Provides employment support helping eligible clients to obtain/maintain employment with such items as daycare costs, transportation,  clothing and work supplies. This is a one-time support.

Offers Crisis and SASS services through the Mobile Crisis Response Team. Screening Assessment Support Services (SASS) is a 90-day program which provides family-focused community-based services to youth in crisis and their family. The SASS program focuses its services on youth 20 years of age and younger who are at risk because they are struggling to function at home, school, or within the community. Can also link families to services such as a therapist, child psychiatrist, and/or other resources within the community.

Community health care clinic. Some services may be referred to other providers or physicians.

Provides a variety of services for and related to support groups, such as:

- Refer individuals to appropriate groups.

- Help new groups form.

- Conduct courses and workshops for group leaders.

- Provides consultation to existing groups.

- Educates public about self-help.

- Publishes the Support Group Directory and specialized list of groups.

Offers education and group classes geared towards domestic violence intervention and anger management services for perpetrators of domestic violence.

-- Children (age 6 months to 6 years) should be tested for lead poisoning.

-- Illinois state law requires all children entering state operated day care, nursery school, preschool, or kindergarten to provide proof of a blood level assessment.

-- Women planning to have a baby should be tested for lead.
