The 12-week support group series covers topics such as identity and purpose, self-care, and overcoming personal barriers, with options for in-person or virtual participation.

Parenting classes consist of an 8-session series focused on self-worth, child development, effective discipline, and creating safe, nurturing home environments.

All participants complete a comprehensive intake, and program staff provide referrals to community resources and case management as needed. Upon successful completion, participants in both services receive a certificate of completion.

Provides several programs that may be able to assist families or individuals that find themselves homeless with no place to stay.

Emergency Shelters may be provided through hotel vouchers when funding is available.

Staff will work with the families/individuals to determine eligibility and will provide case management and assist in locating housing that will meet the household's needs.

Assists households with rent and supportive services while the household participates in case management. Case management will include budget counseling, goal setting, assessment of needs, and referrals.

Provides immunizations to those that qualify in Morgan County.

Provides library services, including CDs, movies, and video games. Some materials may be accessed online using a library card. Services may also include computers for internet access and word processing, reference service and interlibrary loans, FAX, photocopy services, state and federal tax forms. Meeting rooms are available for community non-profit groups.

Provides domestic violence and sexual assault services for DeKalb County. Services provided include a 24/7 crisis hotline, an emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence and their children, transitional housing for victims of domestic and sexual violence, individual, group and family counseling for adults and children experiencing domestic and sexual assault or abuse, legal advocacy including help obtaining Orders of Protection and support at court, medical advocacy to victims at hospital emergency rooms, and prevention and professional education in schools, with police and other first responders, and to community groups.

Offers internal medicine, pediatrics, general health care services, as well as ancillary services including laboratory, x-ray, pharmacy, nutrition, mental health counseling, health education and translation services.

Activities center for those 55 and older.

Fellowship, exercise, games, crafts, ping pong, social events, foot clinic, etc.

Provides Behavioral Health and Treatment Services including evaluation and treatment assessment, outpatient counseling, and group therapy. Also provides Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT).

Offers scholarships, amounts are dependent of funding levels, to income eligible individuals in Edwards, Gallatin, Hamilton, Saline, Wabash, Wayne or White County, who are planning to attend accredited Illinois University, community college, technical or vocational schools. Preference is given to applicants of racial or ethnic minorities.

All DHS offices across the state are open for people to use as a warm/cool place to stay during office hours.

Provides a support group for individuals recovering from addictions.
