The Coordinated Entry System (CES) connects people who are experiencing homelessness to housing opportunities in Chicago. The CES uses a standardized housing assessment to understand households' needs and to refer youth, individuals, and families to housing. The assessment is available to all eligible persons regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, age, familial status, disability, actual or perceived sexual orientation, gender identity, or marital status. Please note that it is not required to be a city of Chicago resident to access this CES, but that only Chicago-based housing opportunities can be provided. For individuals seeking suburban Cook County-based housing opportunities, please reach out to Entry Point's Suburban Cook Call Center instead.
