Nationally accredited museum with five permanent exhibit galleries and two rotating galleries. The museum is dedicated to telling the story of McLean County through programs which serve people of all ages. Features seven exhibit galleries, preserves more than 18,000 objects, makes available more than 15,00 rare and hard-to-find books on local history and genealogy, and manages 2,000 feet of historical papers and images in its archives. 

Provides the HCC Sports Complex. It is a 34-acre complex home to baseball, basketball, walking path, skate park, and playground.

Recreational programming includes baseball, softball, basketball, volleyball, spring/fall soccer, Tae Kwon Do, cheerleading, baton, Zumba, and yoga.

Social programming includes Kids Fun Club, summer day camps, neighborhood playground programs, and building rentals for family/local gatherings.

Educational programming includes senior assistance/seminars, monthly senior luncheon speakers, before/after school programming, and instructional tots classes for children and parents.

Provides public education and prevention programs covering various topics related to domestic violence and sexual abuse. Counselors and speakers are available for onsite visits to schools, workplaces, worship centers, and other organizations.

Provides citizens to anonymously report criminal activity to the police. Information that leads up to an arrest may make the caller eligible for a cash reward. 

Offers residential treatment programs for adults with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Programs serve men and women, women with children, young adults, veterans, and essential and frontline workers. Also offers medically monitored detox and withdrawal management.

Sober living recovery homes and halfway houses provide wraparound support for individuals in early recovery. Also offers supportive housing for individuals living with mental health disorders.

Adult outpatient services include therapy, specialty care such as TMS therapy and MAT, family support and education, psychiatric care, intensive community-based case management, and fulfillment of legal behavioral healthcare requirements related to court systems.

Provides a weekly food pantry. Offers personal/grooming supplies monthly.

Screening services are provided to area preschools and, upon request, to public and private schools for school age children. Hearing screening is also available for adults.

Provides group counseling focused on anger management, mental health, and grief. 

Alzheimer's Support Groups.

Offers a range of services to address academic, social, emotional, and behavioral concerns of children and adolescents. Services include comprehensive evaluations, counseling/therapy, parent and school consultation, academic intervention with children and youth. The site also completes autism diagnostic assessments.

Offers a wide variety of counseling services such as, depression, grief and loss issues, marital and family conflict, anxiety and panic disorders, couples communication, stress-related issues, family violence and abuse, parenting issues, child and adolescent development issues, adjustment to divorce, re-marriage and blended families, pre-marital assessment, major life transitions, elder care and relations, women’s issues, men’s issues, adult children of alcoholics, emotional and spiritual growth, conflicts within congregations.

Assists people with little to no income in obtaining pro bono legal assistance from area lawyers and attorneys in specialized fields while also providing compassion, empathy, and a listening ear to all who come seeking help. Through the CCLS program, the program director matches a client's legal case with an area lawyer who has agreed to represent him/her in the court of law.

CCLS provides assistance in the areas of adoption, bankruptcy, child custody and support, debt elimination, employment, environmental issues, family Law, guardianship, immigration, landlord-tenant disputes, real estate transactions, social security benefits, traffic accidents, and wills and probate.

Low-income housing with some units available for individuals with disabilities.

Offers books, DVDs, CDs, and more for loan, hosts community events, and offers computers for public access.

Boxed food for two meals, based on family size.

Provides in-person and virtual tax assistance to anyone free of charge with a special focus on taxpayers who are over 50 or have low-to-moderate income for the 2026 tax season. Free, year-round tax assistance is also available on the Internet. Taxpayers can post tax questions to online tax assistors by visiting the website.

Workshops for at-risk young adults. Provides life skills development opportunities in the following areas

- Communication and interpersonal skills.

• Decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Creative thinking and critical thinking.
• Self-awareness and self-control.
• Empathy.

Offers prevention programs to increase community education

• Substance abuse prevention.
• Violence prevention.
• Teen pregnancy prevention

The curriculum is provided in school settings with approval from school administrators.  Teen Pregnancy Prevention is also provided in DCFS residential centers.

Provides general medical care for veterans and their families. Services include checkups, prevention, diagnosis, treatment of diseases, immunizations and vaccinations, labs and blood work.

Offers to help children in grades 4-12 develop knowledge and skills. Services include learning about citizenship, leadership, cooking, arts and crafts, mechanics and technology, horticulture, agriculture, and other subjects. To teach young people about these subjects, the 4-H program uses the learn-by-doing method of instruction.
