Group of locally organized healthcare and non-healthcare volunteers working to strengthen the health and safety of the community. Identify, credential, train and prepare volunteers before a natural disaster or a national incident.

The agency is responsible for tax collection for state and local governments, regulating the manufacture, distribution, and sale of alcoholic beverages, and overseeing local property tax assessments. It also serves as the funding agent for the Illinois Housing Development Authority. Additionally, the agency provides access to tax forms, including federal and state tax forms, property tax relief applications, rent rebate and renter's tax credit applications, property value reassessment applications, utility tax exemption applications, and other related documents, which are available in physical locations or online for download.

Utility assistance to help eligible low-income households pay for their winter energy services. Available from September 1 through May 31 or until funding is depleted. May provide one-time benefit payment, percentage of income payment plan, reconnection assistance, or emergency furnace assistance.

Provides assistance for those suffering due to a natural disaster such as a fire, tornado, or flood. Emergency disaster service workers are always trained with the most current techniques, classes, and equipment for any type of disaster. Provides long term relief that aids with rebuilding, grief/spiritual guidance, donation distribution, and social services.

State agency that has responsibility for enforcing state laws, investigating crimes, providing laboratory analysis of criminal evidence, gathering and sharing criminal intelligence, and providing expertise and resources to other law enforcement agencies throughout the state.

Offers library services.

Provides opioid overdose reversal training and training on how to administer naloxone, the overdose reversal drug. Training includes an overview of the opioid epidemic and an understanding of the process of addiction, how to recognize an opioid overdose and ways to help that person, instructions on how to use Naloxone, and time for participants to practice.

Those who have gone through training will receive a free Naloxone kit that includes two injectable doses of Naloxone, a guide to using Naloxone, rubber gloves, and a mouth shield, if needed.

Provides prepared meals. The Ministry is open to all individuals who want a meal or who wants to take a meal to someone in need.
