The Veteran Affairs Supportive Housing Program, or HUD-VASH, is a collaborative program that pairs HUD's Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) rental assistance with U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (United States VA) case management and supportive services. These services are designed to help homeless Veterans and their families obtain permanent housing and access health care, mental health treatment, and other supports. Eligible veterans will be referred to the Housing Authority of Cook County (HACC) to receive HUD-VASH vouchers.

Inner Voice Inc. offers an emergency client assistance fund to help clients maintain their housing stability. The maximum disbursement is $500 per individual or family per year. Applicant must disclose hardship and what caused it. They do not pay late fees.
