Patient Advocate Foundation (PAF) provides direct financial assistance to insured patients who meet certain qualifications to help them pay for the prescriptions and/or treatments they need. This assistance helps patients afford the out-of-pocket costs for these items that their insurance companies require.

Provides emergency assistance to individuals and families who find themselves without the basic necessities for survival. Assistance can include, and funding is limited: - Rent assistance with eviction notice. - Utility bill assistance with disconnect notice (including Illinois American Water). - Medical prescriptions assistance. - Clothing and winter coat vouchers. - Emergency food. - Transportation (MC Rides). Each individual will be interviewed to determine the need, the best method to meet that need, and offer life skills guidance to prevent further occurrence of the emergency situation. Referrals are made to other human services agencies when appropriate.
