Illinois Department of Human Services's (IDHS) Office of Rehabilitation Services helps individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, late-deafened, or deafblind find jobs, get ready to go to work, or obtain services to meet their needs. They serve as a resource to professionals, state agencies, community organizations, and the public, providing information related to employment, training, and accommodations for persons who have a hearing loss.

Chicago Public Schools operates Student Outreach and Re-Engagement (SOAR) Centers that help link youth and families with the support needed to address the fundamental issues driving lack of engagement in school. The program has four citywide SOAR offices in neighborhoods with the highest concentrations of out-of-school youth.

Growing Home, Inc. provides its residents with access to a popular, state-of-the-art Computer Resources Center that is strategically located, easy to reach, and free. The center is a valued resource for students conducting research, adult residents preparing resumes and searching for jobs online, and senior citizens having access to the Internet.The multi-function center is used by college students, job seekers, and seniors alike, who gain instruction and training in topics ranging from basic computer use to job searches and how to write a resume. The Computer Resource Center, which also provides other services that make it a multi-purpose resource center, is located at 5814 S. Wood Street at Growing Home's Urban Farm & Training Center.

Considered the final level of service before full self-sufficiency. Offers a multidisciplinary approach of intensive services provided where and when needed, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Teams include peer support specialists and practitioners with expertise in: - Psychiatry - Nursing - Social work - Substance use treatment - Employment These teams initiate: - A housing search - Developing a care plan - Continuing to work with clients over the long-term.
