Senior Ride Program - Proviso Township - Main Office

Proviso Township offers free rides for residents at least 60 years of age who need transportation to and from medical facilities and other qualifying non-medical locations within the Township. All participants must reside in Proviso Township. The Senior Ride Program is a curb-to-curb service that requires all participants to be able to walk unassisted to and from the Township vehicle.

Pace On Demand - Pace Suburban Bus - Mailing Address

Pace Bus Service On Demand offers a reservation-based, shared-ride service in 10 designated service areas throughout the suburban region. All riders have to do is book online or call to reserve their trip at least one hour (or up to 7 days) in advance and pay with Ventra or cash when boarding. On Demand is open to the general public, so anyone can book a trip and ride the service, as long as the trip starts and ends within one of the On Demand zones.

PRETZEL CITY AREA TRANSIT | SENIOR RESOURCE CENTER

Offers wheelchair-accessible bus and van transportation throughout Stephenson County. Adults 60 years of age and older can ride on a donation basis after registering with the Senior Resource Center for age verification.

Transportation passes or vouchers may be available for eligible individuals to use as payment for transportation services. Services are limited to residents of Stephenson County.
